Having difficulties using the on-line ordering system?

Most customers can order on-line without difficulty; however, some customers do have difficulties, and they seem to depend how your browser and your computer is configured. Here are TWO frequently reported situations and what to do about them:

I click the button 'BUY THIS BOOK' and nothing seems to happen, or the words Error On Page are visible in the bottom bar of the browser

The order system has not loaded. Usually, if you use the button 'BACK TO HOME PAGE' to reload the home page, and then go back to your chosen book, the ordering system will then load and the BUY button will become operative. You need only do this once for any visit to the site.

I get as far as the payment page, and I get a message 'Your Order Has Been Sent' without being asked for credit card or payment details

Almost certainly, your system has a POP-UP BLOCKER enabled. This will have been installed to stop sites you visit opening extra windows on your system. Sometimes such pop-ups are indeed malicious, but the ones our payment system uses are not malicious; they are needed to make the payment system work.

To cure this, you can disable your pop-up blocker before ordering. Or, in some systems, you can OVERRIDE your pop-up blocker by holding down the CTRL key as you click the button. In this case, hold down the CTRL key as you click the large "Secure Credit Card Payment" button after you have viewed the order summary.
